Well apparently Microsoft want’s me to mention their name more than usual today, after writing up about that wicked looking new ultimate keyboard, the news started spreading that there’s more Vista branded hardware on the way. This time in the form of a Widescreen 22″ LCD display, Microsoft and Samsung are apparently joing forces to produce the screens and will be Vista/Microsoft branded. We knew from the start that Microsoft said Widescreen is what Vista was created for and with a Microsoft branded display going to be on the Market especially considering what we know of Microsoft and Samsung’s hardware quality, this could shape up to be another “Must Have” components when it comes time to buy Vista. At this rate however i’ll be buying all new peripherals all Microsoft Vista branded, which is in no way a bad thing because I for one find Microsoft hardware to be top notch :)
One does wonder, with a keyboard/mouse combo that’s vista branded, a display (microsoft has not done displays before so it’s a great step in the right direction for their hardware division), and vista itself all launching soon, one might be tempted to wonder, what will be the next bit of news i have to report on? Alienware/Dell and Microsoft joining forces for the Vista PC itself. People have been rumoring of a secret Microsoft PC (first party) forever, and I really have to jump on the bandwagon, even if shearly only for hopes sake. A Microsoft PC with Vista, that Ultimate Keyboard and the new 22″ widescreen LCD would make a wicked combination, and since Microsoft would have made all the components you can be 110% sure that the drivers wouldn’t have vista issues :) But for now it’s just a hope/rumor, we’ll have to enjoy our Big Screen 22″ LCD!

Edit: I REALLY REALLY HOPE that this monitor is a HighDPI monitor, Microsoft has said in the past they feel high dpi and widescreen are 2 huge new aspects of vista :) *Crosses Fingers*
