Remember back in 2005 when Sony said that the PS3 would be dual 1080p hdmi… (Ya we all know they dropped it down to 1 output… and optional hdmi), but it appears there big “we have 1080p” was more a marketing ploy than anything else, besides the fact less than 1% of the HDTV owners can even support 1080p but thats not even the sad part. Back at E3 2006 IGN came to find out that only 1 single game and it was just an upscaled cut back PS2 game that was actually running at 1080p (go figure). Don’t even get me started on the fact that a bunch of big games were running on Xbox360′s LOL, go figure Xbox360′s running demos for the PS3 games it’s just hilarious hehe. (Don’t get me started on the “save” they pulled off by saying the Assassin’s Creed was on a PC and not a 360, ya lol prove it sony/ubisoft :) ) Anyway here’s the list of the REAL RESOLUTIONS that the E3 games were running at (notice the lack of 1080p that was going to be sony’s “big leap”.
