Developers do listen, MadTracks gets XBL

You will probably remember a few weeks back we discussed the awesome game Mad Tracks, the toy car racing game that is coming to Xbox Live Arcade, it got rave reviews for its original racing and mini-games… but it was a huge let down when it turned out it was only going to be a party game with local multiplayer and no Xbox Live Support… this was apparently because they didn’t want to rewrite the network stack from the PC version as it would require.

With the huge uproar from fans that were dieing for some good ol’ XBL fun Microsoft and the Mad Tracks team got together and did exactly what they really wanted to, and what the Xbox Live players all were begging for, they are going to delay the release of Mad Tracks TO ADD XBOX LIVE MULTIPLAYER SUPPORT! Yes you read that correctly, when Mad Tracks releases (no date has been set) it will feature the killer singleplayer as well as Multiplayer through Xbox Live.

This is Huge news for what could be one of the next up and coming games for the Arcade, with multiplayer support this is surely going to be back at the top of ALOT of peoples lists. It’s nice to finally know that Developers and Studios actually do listen (sometimes) when the world is begging for a feature, even if it is costly or difficult to do. This change could have easily taken the game back out of the “aight list” and back up to the “Hell Ya” score.
