Finally looks like we have some new insider info after a week of pretty much nothing, this time its some insider info on some of the Content thats going to be coming preloaded…
Thanks to everyone who wished me a good vacation. I’m back now and have a little bit of Zune news for you. A while ago, I posted about Zune having some content pre-loaded on it. But at that time, I wasn’t able to confirm any of the content. My buddy Richard yesterday wrote that we’ll have content from CSS and Hot Chip. Sweet. And yes, that’s both audio and video.
I just got the green light to post about some more pre-loaded content: 30 Seconds to Mars. From our friends at Virgin Records, 30 Seconds to Mars’ video “The Kill” is nominated for an Best Rock Video at this year’s MTV VMAs (go vote for ‘em!)

So it looks like most of the Preloaded content is going to be consisting of Indie music, which is kinda great because it gets some of the small bands out their to show off what they can do… let’s just hope the groups that are chosen rock. Also i’m still hoping to see some top10 music considering microsoft has ties with MTV, perhaps some TRL Top 10 videos?
At this point the only thing thats a mystery still and has me and some others up at arms is the fact we still don’t know what kind of outputs the Zune will have… alot of us have video packs like the MYVU that we want to use with the Zune when it comes out but no video output has been announced, i really hope microsoft doesn’t drop the ball on that. (Not to mention a 60gb version, because 30gb just might not be enough for me :))
