Some smart guy decided to take one of DIYers favorite toys, magnets, and mix it with a common closet item, the ol fashion hanger. He decided he was sick of the struture of being forced to hang all his clothes in a predefined row in one direction just because hangers were designed to … well… hang from a rod.
So he took strong magnets, most likely neodynium as you can see below the solution seems to work pretty darn good, the question is will we ever actually see something like this in our home? Probably not, unless your BillG that is :)
Provided that the magnets are the superstrong neodyniums I can see this hanging up just about anything, shirts, coats, jeans, i mean the 1″ strong magnets have what a 20lb force? That’s more than enough for a heavy coat. Sure the concept needs work, but I mean whats the last time the hanger was updated… 1820? (jk)
