Sales tracker ChartTrack has announced that the recent price cut has managed to push the Xbox360 to 260% sales in the UK. Unfortunately that’s all they’ve announced so far no specific numbers etc, but we already know that spikes were to be expected…. remember the 360 was #1, #2, #3 and #4 at amazon.com with jumps of 1000%+ for many of the items after the price drop. So it looks like the truck bed liner‘s full of Xbox360′s will continue to truck out to retailers and off to consumers as the months progress, especially with such a huge season on the way for the 360.
For more cool numbers on the price drop, we’ll have to wait for more specific numbers to be released. But don’t forgot the coming months are big, Huge 360 games are being released, on top of the recent price cut Halo 3, Bioshock, Assassin’s Creed, Mass Effect, Army of Two, etc etc etc. All coming out before the year end remember theirs like 10-20 big name games, it’ll be interesting to see how huge a year end the 360 has, though I hope the big releases and price cuts mean a new round of TV advertisements, It’s been forever since I’ve seen one.
